1.
Halt 06:54
the further i grow apart of what i encountered the more i mourn for my self somthing smoulders inside my body the hearth that is i just closed my eyes i detached so long ago just to hide away no grasp no hold an endless fall through the veil no grasp of what surrounds me no hold of what happens a blurred, bypassed stream that is my life a current of air around me
2.
Ligatur 03:35
new layers have shown how much blankness there is ignorance unknown unknowleged not to believe not yet seen no occurrence to prove what has emerged i feel nothing but to consume you
3.
Mine 05:00
the morning clouds and haze so low layers of light and sound darkness and shadows imminent imprint perceived through clenched eyes so let it ripe the fruit let ripe your life but it is torn a mere projection of the mind distorted liquified if it's gone everything's void
4.
Last 04:07
i can't trust you i never will i open a chasm of disgust and bale to end myself to feel alive uncontrolled belonging nowhere i'm hanging on to what i have i swear i won't let you down

about

After playing shows with Sludge and Post-Metal heavyweights like Downfall Of Gaia or Buried At Sea, Abest released their new 12“ EP Last in May 2016. Last is mastered by Brad Boatright (Old Man Gloom, Nails, Oathreaker) and contains four songs that are a lot more uncompromising than the bands past material. Last sums up the past two years of Abest, their intense live performances and shows a style of Post-Metal, that will leave you breathless and satisfied at once.

"Last tends to want to steamroll you into oblivion and the more you listen the more likely that may happen, but more than anything this release gets you headbanging violently." - Cadaver Garden

"The Germans display their influences of hardcore and sludge metal to build an atmosphere of anguish and unsettling nature." – Metal Storm
